BIO

Minerva Daisy was born March 22nd 2001 in Macclesfield, after which she moved around the country a little bit and has lived in places such as North Wales and Buxton. Settling in Manchester, she now attends the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and releases music in a professional capacity. Both of her parents share her creative personality and her father, a singer himself, serves as one of her greatest influences. Others include Nirvana, Etta James, Radiohead, and many more. Her official debut, 'Call Me the Criminal', has amassed over 10,000 streams on’ Sonstream’, a testament to her talent. Minerva began playing the piano at 6 years old and was singing from the age of 12. By 14 she had progressed to songwriting and was a professional musician by 16.
Her single "Substitute" was received well, being played on both the BBC Introducing in the East Midlands show & Amazing Radio, Featuring on Charlie Ashcroft's Audition playlist as well as many blogs, and her latest single Euphoria has been streamed globally, reviewed by RGM, macclesfielf NUB news and rising artists it's clear that it will soon surpass Substitute, paired with a sold out single launch that took place on the 25th July where Minerva debuted her official merch!
Channeling her influences yet adding her own personal touch with lyrics that contemplate issues such as female empowerment, love, relationships, and body positivity, Minerva's music presents a soundscape like no other with retro feeling and modern sensibilities appealing to anybody who considers themselves a fan of music.
